Chin-Min Hsiang Education Foundation (CMHEF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promote values of higher education, particularly to encourage and support advanced studies in biomedical sciences at  Wuhan University School of Medicine in China.

Foundation will provide support for a program called “Search for Excellence”. Currently, there are three programs of support. (1) Each year, one excellent college student will be awarded. (2) A graduate student or junior faculty, who is engaged in research involving medical microbiology and immunology, will be awarded for research excellence. (3) Bi-annually, the foundation will sponsor speakers from the US to travel to China in activities promoting the scientific exchange or research collaboration. 

向近敏教育基金会(CMHEF)是为了纪念向近敏教授, 由他的学生及亲属成立的一个非营利组织。 向近敏教育基金会的成立目的是奖励符合本会“追求卓越计划“条件的学生们。同时也为了促进中美相关领域的学术交流
